Important Facts:

Job 12:7-10.

But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air

and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you; or let the fish

of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the

lord has done this. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all

mankind.

Recent Events:

The National Weather Service has officially listed us under an exceptional drought condition.  We have talked to several hay producers and things look grim at best.  We are just in August and hay has run out in some areas.  With that in mind you can expect higher hay prices and shortages as well.

Purpose

Hixon Show Horses was created because of the horse.  Gaye has been around horses all her life and her accumulated knowledge is vast.  She believes that in sharing her knowledge and experience could possibly  help others, as well as their horses.  Gaye's patience with students will benefit both rider and horse.

Many years of Non-Pro riding along with years of competitive Professional riding  have given Gaye the desire to pass her knowledge along to others who want to start their own knowledge building process.

Each horse is different as are riders.  Her goal is to teach the "Big Picture".  The picture is complete when a horse and a rider learn mutual respect, and work together as a team to achieve goals.
