Important Facts:
Job 12:7-10.
But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air
and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you; or let the fish
of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the
lord has done this. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all
mankind.
Recent Events:
The National Weather Service has officially listed us under an exceptional drought condition. We have talked to several hay producers and things look grim at best. We are just in August and hay has run out in some areas. With that in mind you can expect higher hay prices and shortages as well.
Gaye
Gaye’s love affair with horses began shortly after birth. Her dad, “Doc” Powers, had her in the saddle with him literally before she could walk. From trail riding, to working cattle, to “chasing cans”, to the show pen, Gaye has been blessed with many wonderful horses in her life. She gives one in particular, ApHC mare Maiden’s Quest (“MaiMai”), credit for her success in the show pen as well as giving her the confidence needed to go from Non-Pro to Professional Trainer over 10 years ago. Together they earned a Superior Award in Trail, two World Top 10 placings (one in Trail, one in Free-Style Reining), over 100 total Trail points (Open and Non-Pro) and numerous buckles and high-point awards.
During her years as a trainer, Gaye has enjoyed showing and riding or leading many customers’ horses into the blues as well, earning ribbons, buckles, high-points and breed association points. Gaye has coached many students who have achieved their own goals in the show pen, as well as World Show qualification, and she’s very proud of each and every one of them
